We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

We only collect the personal information you choose to give us through the registration form on this site:

  • The organisation you represent
  • Your work email address
  • Your phone number
  • Anything else you write in the message field

Our website also collects standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you viewed, through website analytics.

2. Why we collect it

We use this information to:

  • Respond to your enquiry and contact you about connecting your organisation to FineVision.
  • Prepare a connection plan and commercial proposal for your sites.
  • Understand which organisations are interested in the Australian launch so we can plan it.

We will not send you unrelated marketing without your consent, and you can ask us to stop contacting you at any time.

3. The FineVision platform is separate

This policy covers the website only. The FineVision platform processes video footage and facial data on behalf of the organisations that subscribe to it. For that processing the subscribing organisation decides how the data is used, and the handling of it is governed by our agreement with that organisation rather than by this policy. No video or facial data is collected through this website.

4. Disclosure

We do not sell or rent personal information. We may share it with service providers who help us operate the website and communicate with you, such as email, hosting and analytics providers, and we may disclose it where we are required or authorised to do so by law.

Some of these service providers may store information outside Australia. Where that happens we take reasonable steps to ensure the information is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

5. Storage and security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access or disclosure, including encryption in transit and access controls limiting who within Membra can see it. We keep enquiry records only for as long as we need them for the purpose described above, and then destroy or de-identify them.
